SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Rainbo Initiative (RI) has transformed itself to a well-established national NGO that continues to provide for survivors of physical and sexual assault with free and quality clinical care, psychosocial support and referrals for other services. Currently RI has 53 staff and 28 interns working across five districts in Sierra Leone including midwives who have been with the organisation since 2003. RI has a very strong Senior Management Team (SMT) with Eight (8) members (6 Females and 2 Males) with requisite qualifications and experience in strategic leadership and management for an average of 7 years’ experience.

Daniel Kettor is the current Executive Director of Rainbo Initiative in Sierra Leone. Daniel is a development professional with 15 years of progressive experience in program design, partnership, system strengthening and strategic leadership in the Non-for-profit sector.

He has vast experience in working with vulnerable groups including children, women, persons with disabilities, youth and the aged (old people). He cultivates donor Relationship and develop fundraising and growth strategies and plans.

He provides Strategic Leadership and Internal Performance across the organization, taking overall responsibility for financial position and management.

He takes overall leadership responsibility for organizations, managed national volunteer programmes, and youth networks with an excellent understanding of community engagement and development approaches to addressing emerging community issues.

GIBRIL ABASS KARGBO is the Deputy Executive Director and head of programs for Rainbo Initiative in Sierra Leone,

He is a gender, girls and women empowerment practitioner with over 14 years’ experience in gender and adolescent girls programming, including SGBV, FGM and SRH. Gibril has practical work experience with donors and in community development context. He has wealth of experience in organizational development, networking and coalition building. He supports the Executive Director and responsible for over program planning and implementation.  

3. ESTHER SESAY, ADMIN/HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

BSC HRM, More than ten years of experience in the provision of dedicated quality HR services, professional advice, Staff Performance Management and Capacity building, policies and procedures (employee manual) are developed and implemented in line with organizational vision, mission, and strategic objectives.  Contributed to risk management by advising managers on the interpretation/application of HR policies and procedures and ensuring Country Program employment and human resource management practices meet agency and donor standards and are in compliance with local labor laws, I also have experience in analyzing office issues and requests related to human resource management and administration and recommended to SMT initiatives, activities, and opportunities for innovation and improvement of the HR function in alignment with business needs to attract, develop, motivate and retain a human resource base that is dedicated to high quality performance.

Tsitsi Muvunzi is a governance, gender and development specialist with close to two decades of experience working on gender programming with Civil Society Organizations, NGOs and INGOs. Tsitsi has extensive experience in programme design, programme coordination, implementation, research and development. She is conversant with the use of various programme management tools and implementation strategies.
